So many quilts so little time.

Finishing up all my UFOs. What a lovely thought.
I hope this will give me the inspiration to get several of them done.
My first priority is my daughter Amanda's quilt. It is a simply Jelly Roll quilt but it just keeps getting push to the back of the list. Just a few more row and border and it will be ready to quilt.
The second UFO I would like to complete is a Block of the Month I started several years ago. Now the blocks are all finished, I just have the shashing and borders to complete.
I am only going to list two for right now, if I list them all I might get overwhelmed.
It is also 3:40 in the morning so I will come back and load pictures in the daylight.

A few of the projects I have been working on.

As promised here are a few on the many projects I have been working on.
The first is a decorative pillows.  Just a quick back story, I made a new quilt for our bed, the last one we had I made with my husband in mind. It was darker colors and not feminine at all. This new quilt is all me, florals, soft colors and just down right pretty. I explained to my husband that I am making decorative pillow that are just for looks, not to ever rest you head on! I will let you know how that works out.
I saw this cute pillow on Pintrest, it was posted by Justanotherhangup.blogspot.com.
I thought it was very cute and would be easy to make with the new Bernina Ruffler foot I have been experimenting with.

Here is a picture of the original one from Pintrest.

Here is my version of this pillow.
It looks really nice with the other pillows I have made, just waiting to finish two more and I will post a picture of all of them, including the quilt.

Next is a cute shirt I made for Amanda. I saw this made at Scrapbooks ETC and knew Amanda would just love it.
First picture is a plain white tee from Old Navy.

Here is the after picture, I embellished the tee with a cute ruffle fabric.

As you can see, she loves it!

Amanda's new hat.

I just finished this hat for my daughter Amanda.

She has been waiting for me to make her this hat for a few months now.
You know the saying, the shoemakers kids......

She is so happy to have it, that she didn't even wait for her hair to dry before she began wearing it.
Big smile!

Front view of hat.

Better view of the flowers.

The fabric is from Kate Spain's collection called Terrain.
I just love all of her fabric, the colors are so rich.

Too busy to blog???

Oh so busy with lots of different  projects going on.
I have finally mastered the basics of knitting, I have two projects almost complete and can't wait to show you. Yes, I said two, can I ever just do one thing at a time.
Can you say Adult ADD!
I have several purses made and ready for purchase, this one has been very popular, it is a Black and Grey Animal print with smokey Swarvorski Crystals.
Too bad the crystals don't  photograph well, they really make this bag.
This bag retails for $50

I also have many headbands, ranging in color and bling, these headbands have been very popular and are so easy to wear.

These are just a few colors and options for the headbands. I have over 50 colors and styles to choose from.
They retail for $12.50 a piece or two for $20.
I will let you in on a little secret, if you spray the area with hairspray before applying, the headband will stay in place all day.
If you are looking for a certain color or style you can e-mail me at Fran@sewbella.net

Knocking out the projects, one by one!

I have really been trying to get all my projects done so I can of course start new ones.

I finally got Kristin's quilt done, this was supposed to be a Christmas presents but turned out to be more like a Valentine's gift.
I figured since it was taking me so long to get it done, I would surprise her with a wonderful Minkee backing.
Here is a view of the front of the quilt.

Here you can see the quilting design and the wonderful Minkee.

Here is a shot of the front with a piece of the back flapped over.

Kristin with her new quilt, she wasn't thrilled that I made her pose in the yarn shop.

I also mentioned  in my previous post that I was making some fun pillows to match my new bed quilt. I have two out of the three made and when I get the 3rd made I will post them along with my new bed quilt.
I have been busy learning a new knitting pattern, I won't say how many time I had to run to the knit store for help, but let just say after many attempts I finally got the rhythm of this pattern and I am half way through my daughters scarf.
Hopefully I will be showing you my other projects in a day or two.

This and That.

Just finished this custom purse, the customer requested I add my ribbon flowers to the front of the bag. Wasn't sure how it would look, but I have to say I really like it.
Loving all the added bling!

So after church I plan on playing with a new foot for my machine.
I know it looks intimidating, but it is a foot to make ruffles and pleats.
Not only is it fast and easy, it will even sew your ruffle to the fabric as it is making the ruffle. Life is good, right!
As soon as I finished playing, I will post some pictures.

Where were these great Diaper Bags when I was having kids?

When I had my kids Diaper Bags were generic, most were made of some plastic type of material and just plain boring.
I just loved making this great custom Diaper Bag with matching Diaper Wipe Holder.
Don't you  love the Pink and Brown combo? Just a soft touch of sparkle with the Pink Swarovski Crystals.

The matching Diaper Wipe Holder is just too cute.
I swear I am going to make one to use as a clutch for an evening out.
